Trowers & Hamlins are recruiting a planning and environment paralegal, to be based in Exeter.

Although previous experience in planning and environmental law would be advantageous, it is not a necessity.

You will be a bright law graduate (or degree + GDL graduate) looking to take the next step into your law career or an experienced paralegal looking to take the next step in their career.

This full-time role will encapsulate a range of responsibilities, including:

• Carrying out research
• Drafting letters, advice notes and other various documents
• Dealing with planning, highway, and other infrastructure agreements
• Ensuring files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
• Reviewing local searches and obtaining planning documents from the relevant authorities
• Numerous other tasks that may be required to support the rest of the planning department
